Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Lead Workspace and the Lead Workspace Chrome extension collect, use, store, and protect information when users parse lead data from LinkedIn Sales Navigator or LinkedIn people search results and send that data into their Lead Workspace account.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information such as email address, display name, and workspace identity used to sign in and route imports to the correct account.
- Lead data that the user explicitly parses from supported LinkedIn pages, such as name, profile URL, job title, company name, location, and related profile details visible on the page.
- Local extension preferences stored in the browser, such as language, pages-to-parse settings, and local session state.
- Import metadata such as batch names, timestamps, duplicate counts, and processing status inside the Lead Workspace application.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only to operate and improve Lead Workspace, including to:
- authenticate users and maintain account access;
- parse and import lead records into the correct Lead Workspace account;
- detect duplicates and prevent repeated imports;
- display import results, enrichment status, and review queues;
- maintain product reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
3. How Information Is Stored
Extension preferences and local session data are stored in the user’s browser using Chrome extension storage. Imported lead data and account-related application data are sent securely to the Lead Workspace backend and stored in the application database.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the service, such as with infrastructure and hosting providers that support Lead Workspace, or when required by law.
5. User Control
Users control when data is parsed and sent to Lead Workspace. Users may also:
- remove the extension at any time;
- clear locally stored extension data from their browser;
- manage imported data inside their Lead Workspace account.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect account and lead data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Third-Party Sites
The extension operates on LinkedIn pages chosen by the user and connects to the Lead Workspace web application. Use of third-party websites, including LinkedIn, remains subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
